Kitengela Hot Glass - The Art & Craft in Recycling.
Located in Kajiado County is a busy and industrious Kitengela Hot Glass factory.
I had an opportunity to visit a few months ago and it was a fascinating experience to say the least. The facility recycles and transforms scrap glass into objects and designs that have a future, address and fulfill a function and desire.
I have never seen such artistic craftsmen in so much sync and coordination before; they melted the glass in very extreme temperatures and skillfully carved them into marvelous items such as jugs and vases.
